Layout To Share - What Does The Fox Say?

Here is another layout that I created using a template from the Simple Scrapper Premium membership ... these templates are so fantastic!  I love how unique this particular template was which I think really added to the entire page which focuses on Alex's fascination with the pop culture sensation that is the YouTube video 'What Does the Fox Say?'  It's such a common thing at our house at the moment, it felt appropriate to document it for our scrapbooks!

Layout: Ivey Family Portrait

There are a lot of reasons for my love of genealogy and family history but one of them is this photograph which is one of the first family portraits from the past that I recall seeing as a child.  I thought it would be fun to create a layout for my heritage album showcasing this photo and the story behind why I was so fascinated by it! I'm really going to work more on my heritage and childhood albums in 2014 so expect to see a few more layouts from the past coming up!

For this layout, I was inspired by a Story Starter from the Simple Scrapper Premium Membership and also used a template from the Simple Scrapper Premium Membership! I can't tell you how much I've learned from being a part of Simple Scrapper - what a fountain of inspiration! For more details on the membership, head over to Simple Scrapper!

New Layout to Share

I created a layout about a poem and art project that Alex created in 2nd grade. Such a talented little boy we have! Used lots of Valorie Wibbens goodies (can find her products here) as well as a template from the Simple Scrapper Free Sampler (can be found here)!

New Layout to Share

My dad made Meighan a beautiful piece of stained glass art based on a drawing she drew for him while we visited at Christmas last year. Within weeks, he'd send her the piece he made and I wanted to be sure it was documented for our family because it was so beautiful and such an amazing gift for Meighan! I used a bunch of yummy goodies from Valorie Wibbens - you HAVE to check out her collaborative kit with Karla Dudley which is entitled The Good Stuff. It's so fantastic - versatile and full of amazing bits!
