I thought I'd also share some of my recent scrapbook pages since its been awhile since I shared ...

 

Project Life: 2013

Hello strangers ... yes, it's me. Finally! I've taken a bit of a blogging break. I think I've finally found something to share here on the blog that will give you a sense of what we're doing and what's happening in our life. In 2012, I started creating a Project Life album (more info on Project Life can be found here). I created weekly spreads for most of the year but creating the physical albums became difficult once we moved due to space since our new home is significantly smaller than our previous home. So, I stopped creating Project Life pages for a few months but have decided to get back to them in 2013. The difference is that I've decided to do them digitally like I do our regular scrapbook pages! I think this will work much better for me!

I thought I would share with you the first few of our 2013 spreads and I'll do my best to come back every week & post that week's pages. If you click on the image, it will open a larger version that will allow you to see the spreads in more detail!

I really do love these Project Life pages - the kids love to look at our 2012 album. In fact, when my friend Stephanie visited, Meighan pulled it out to show her! It's a really cool way to capture our day to day lives! So, I'm going to aim to post each weekly spread as I've finished them so I can share them with everyone! Worst. Blogger. Ever. (and layout musings)

Since it's been officially over a YEAR  since I've blogged, I think I could easy take on the worst blogger ever award. I'm really going to try to do a better job of getting over here for occasional updates. I am hoping for a mix of my scrapbook layouts, photos and stories of our life. But, we'll see. I don't want to make any promises other than that I promise to try.

The last year has been really crazy for our family. I accepted a job in Virginia and we moved our family from Missouri to the Northern VA/DC area in June. We moved into a small rented condo which we hope to only be in for a year as we plan to buy a home after we feel ready to settle in. Lots of change. Lots of excitement. Lots of sadness in saying goodbye to our Missouri friends. But, all in all, it's been a fantastic change ... one that was the right move for our family!
