Lucky Musings

I'm feeling particularly lucky today ... to have a husband that I love, who loves me. To have 3 children in my life that are healthy, happy and make me proud every day. To have a job that I love. To have parents and grandparents who loved me so well and gave me so much. So, in honor of that ... here are the lyrics to a song we hear on Noggin all the time that we love & sing with the kids a lot ... and there's a few photos of our beautiful twins after the lyrics.

The Roots Lovely, Love my Family Lyrics:

All we need, all we need. All we need.
Spread the love around, yeah

Sometimes when I am sitting by myself
Those quiet moments when not with no one else
I’m mesmerized by all the many good things in my life
I think about the time when I was younger
And the older that I get the more that I feel wiser
With the love of friends and family
Get stronger and it carries me on through

So I say lovely lovely lovely lovely lovely
lovely lovely lovely love, love my family
So I say lovely lovely lovely lovely lovely
lovely lovely lovely love, love my family
So I say lovely lovely lovely lovely lovely
lovely lovely lovely love, love my family

Sometimes when I am waiting for the bus
The sun shines bright and I feel peace like nowhere else
I know I'm in good health and life keeps going, I keep moving, I’m alright
I go to school and educate my mind, and the way the world is spinning
makes me want to turn around and start all over, hit the reset and go back in time.

How can I NOT feel lucky ...with those faces to look forward to each and every day ...

Banking Services Cookout Musings

We had our annual Banking Services Summer Cookout in August and I thought I'd share some of the photos from the day. I think its really nice to actually like the people that you work with and I think that is definitely true for me. I'm surrounded each day by a great group of people. We're a fairly small team (although we're growing pretty rapidly) in comparison to some of our peers but I think that's help to create a sense of family among the group! So, anyhow ... here's our annual cookout  -

Meighan loved hanging with the babies ... she was so excited to hold Miles and that Dylan seemed to like her so much! He made her day!
